Josh Turner, American country and gospel singer and songwriter, is bringing his “Long Black Train” 20thAnniversary Tour to The Events Center at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Born in Hannah, South Carolina before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in music, Turner is known for his deep voice and raspy undertones. His debut album entitled “Long Black Train” was released in 2003, now celebrating its 23rd year out. “Long Black Train” made its appearance as the first track on the album as well, spending more than 40 weeks on the Billboard country charts, reaching a peak of No. 13 and receiving a gold certification.

Turner’s vision for “Long Black Train” is just as vivid for him today as it was when it was originally released, he said in an interview for American Songwriter. A student at Belmont University at the time, the song kickstarted the artist’s career and started his journey to be the country artist he is today.

Turner is bringing his heart wrenching sound and passion for music to The Events Center stage at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino for his long awaited “Long Black Train” 20th Anniversary Tour–a performance you don’t want to miss.
