Event Description
Our first event is our FBLA on Fire Leadership Conference with the Suns on October 17, 2024 at the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix. We are expecting 1500 students and advisers at this event. We offer three workshop slots that are 40 minutes each and the tentative schedule is listed below:
10:30 am to 12:00 pm – School Registration
11:00 am to 12:00 pm – Workshop Presenter Check In
12:00 pm to 12:30 – Opening Session (Welcome and Suns Panel)
12:40 pm to 1:20 pm – Workshop Session 1
1:30 pm to 2:10 pm - Workship Session 2
2:20 pm to 3:00 pm – Workship Session 3
We ask that your workshop be on leadership and professional skill topics. Some examples would be resumes, job interview skills, communication, team work, collaboration. public speaking, and so many more. We ask that you give a workshop that is not strictly lecturing but one that will engage the students by having them do some activities and moving around as that way you keep student interest.
