Event Description
Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL) is a new organization in Goodyear that helps parents and family members deal with the issues surrounding a loved one struggling with addiction by providing education, fellowship, and most importantly, hope.
PAL’s free weekly meetings are held EVERY SATURDAY and offer an evidence-based curriculum to help parents and family members learn healthy ways to deal with addiction challenges and provide support to exchange ideas and suggestions.

Meetings ARE EVERY SATURDAY and offer education and support.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
The addiction cycle • Enabling behaviors • Delayed emotional growth Role of the family • Setting realistic boundaries • Emotional detachment Financial strings • Steps of recovery • Recognizing relapse
The meetings are led by trained volunteer facilitators who have experienced the issues first-hand. The PAL meetings are open to parents, spouses, grandparents, siblings, and close friends (18 and older).
